The Lenox Foundation exists to raise funds to promote the mission of the St. Louis Park Senior Program which is “to improve and enhance the lives of adults age 50 and better in St. Louis Park and the broader community.”

The Lenox Foundation has provided money in support of the St. Louis Park Senior Program since 1986. Each year, the amount grows and its interest provides additional funds for programs, speakers, equipment, administration and staffing.

Funds are managed by the St Paul & Minnesota Community Foundations. This expertise has increased the interest the Foundation receives and enables it to give more to the Senior Program. The Board’s goal is to increase the principal funds so that the interest is always growing.

As Baby Boomers reach retirement in greater numbers in the next few years, the need to expand the Senior Program to meet this challenge will also increase. Funding is always an issue and it is Lenox Foundation’s wish to continue to provide money to help meet program goals.
